After the fascination caused by debut album Gist Is in 2014, Adult Jazz have released new material in the form of the surreal and experimental ‘Eggshell’. The first single from 7-track record Earring Off! due May 20th, ‘Eggshell’ is the understatement of odd. Despite not being the easiest track to grasp on first listen, the innovation and progression within the band is seriously intriguing.  With similarities to the latest Animal Collective record Painting With, ‘Eggshell’ may seem a little hard to crack but the production quality and experimentation prove Adult Jazz are back with a bang. -JE
